January is Hibernation Month

After all the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season, January is such a snoozer. We've cleaned from top to bottom; front to back. We've counted all the toys we have left and now it's time to buy again. We've ordered some new toys as well as restocking the tried and true. Meanwhile, it is game and puzzle season (indoor entertainment). I invite you to come downtown and visit us. We're not too busy to sit down and play a game or two with you...try before you buy.

Happy New Year!

After a short winter's nap, it all begins again. We spent Christmas morning basking in the knowledge that we helped make multitudes of children and their adults happy that day. It was a really intense season; shorter than usual, and so many people waited until the last minute to shop. A big thank you from us to all our loyal customers who support us. We are still here because of you. Best wishes to all for the new year ahead.

Toys for Tots Promotion

We have a Toys for Tots donation box in our store again this year. In order to promote giving we have devised a small promotion that should benefit all involved. We have coupons in the store for 10% off of one item to be donated in-store. In addition; for every coupon used, Toys for the Fun of It will also donate a toy. We hope that this will encourage people to give. It could be a good lesson for young children to pick out a toy for someone in need.
This is the home stretch.... only 9 more killer days for us Toy Guys until Christmas. We still have a wide selection to choose from and we urge our customers to come downtown and shop with your favorite local merchants. Parking is free (in the "gift-wrapped" metered spaces) and we have extended our hours starting today through Christmas Eve:
Monday -Friday: 10 am to 8 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday: 11 am to 4 pm

Parade of Lights December 6th

Welcome to the holiday season downtown. The parade of lights will take place this Saturday starting at 5pm (0 dark thirty). If you are new to the area or have never been, this is a must see event. It looks like the weather will cooperate, so bundle up and come out. The stores downtown and the city have outdone themselves decorating for the season, bringing you a cheerful hometown atmosphere. Hopefully everyone will come do their holiday shopping and have a festive meal thus supporting our local businesses. As for us, we've got the toys and we're ready to make you the favorite (aunt, uncle,cousin,grandpa,grandma....).
It's shaping up to be a game and puzzle kind of season so far. People are buying puzzles and brainteasers for adults and games the whole family can enjoy. Also, Santa gets all the cool stocking stuffers from our "mountain of cheap thrills"...... then he heads to Enstrom's to complete his list of goodies. See you downtown!
