Play with PlayFoam Thurs. July 17th

This week during Farmer's Market you can get your hands on Play Foam; one of our more popular items. It is soft and moldable, colorful, and it doesn't dry out. We have had really positive customer feedback on this product over the last year.
The peaches are coming on, the weather is hot, and downtown is the fun place to be... see you Thursday!

Sunday Sidewalk Sale

Every year Benges Shoes has their big sidewalk sale the second Sunday in July. Every year I think, "we should do that too". Then I forget until I see the ad for the shoe sale.
SO, this year we will have a not advertised sidewalk sale on Sunday. If you come, it's because you saw it here (or you see it when you go to Benges on Sunday).
Since we closed the Montrose store, some of the sale items will be demo tables, games and toys, and other double stuff (not Oreos). We will be open our regular Sunday hours: 11 am to 3 pm.

June 10th Farmer's Market Activity

This week we will get our hands on "Crayon Rubbings", one of our favorite "Chicken Socks" books by Klutz Press. It's a cool indoor activity for kids of all ages. The hot weather is bringing on the produce. Come see downtown Grand Junction at it's best this Thursday from 5:00 to 8:30 pm.

Holiday Weekend July 3-6

We will be open our regular hours over the holiday weekend. Thursday Farmer's Market 10 am to 9 pm, Friday & Saturday 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday 11 am to 3 pm. The 4th of July parade is downtown at 6 pm on Friday the 4th. Our Farmer's Market activity this week is "Science by Be Amazing Toys". We will be making "snow" in the store and doing the diet Coke and Mentos geysers outside every half hour. Come down and be amazing with us.

Farmer's Market Thursday June 27

This week our activity will be "castle building"  using the Klutz book. The castles are built with pre-cut printed "cards". They can be put together in many ways. These books are so popular that there are 3 versions: Hogwarts, the original castle building book, and the chicken socks version for younger builders. Come down and check it out. The cherries are ripe and the green chili burritos are fresh.

Groovy time at Farmer's Market June 19th

This week during Farmer's Market we will have a Groovy Girls coloring contest. Come in and color a groovy picture. There will be groovy prizes. Farmer's Market Thursday Nights

Hooray, it's finally summer! Fresh produce and fun are the hot items at farmer's market. As in years past, we will host a hands - on kid's activity every week; so stop by and participate while you are downtown. This Thursday we will have the Do-a-Dot markers out for everyone to try. Take home a work of art.
While you're here, check out our selection of kites and outdoor toys. Water guns, stomp rockets, trikes and pogo sticks make long summer days more fun.
