Downtown Bike Festival May 17th
Bike Festival is a totally fun event "geared" toward kids of all ages. We sponsor the bike parade which will be part of the Shriner's parade this year. To participate, bring your bike to R5 High School (7th & Grand) at 8:45 a.m. We provide some decorating materials and bells. Then we will parade down 7th to Main where the games begin in the 500 block. The activities last until noon.
Events include: Obstacle course, Paperboy Toss, Plank Ride, Log Pull, Trike Race, Bicycle Limbo and more....
The Silver Spoke Film Festival is at 9:00 p.m. Films will be projected on the side of the Main Street Bagels building.
After the movie, the Lite Nite Ride takes place. This is a 10 mile loop... Headlights are a must.
This event is 100% fun whether you are participating or just watching.
