Kettler tricycles, made in Germany, come in several styles and colors. These top- of -the -line trikes are made to last. The frames are engineered to hold more weight than any kid that will fit on one (big brother can't break it). Most kids start peddling at age 2 to 2 1/2 . FOOT TO FLOOR
For the one year old, I recommend the "Flintstone" method of transportation, otherwise known as foot-to-floor. Again, we have several styles and price ranges to choose from. Both boys and girls love to scoot around and it is a big part of developing those gross motor skills. At this age, everything kids do is educational and most of it is fun to do and fun to watch. Help them explore their limits with fun, safe toys.
